Suggestions for use from K-6 teachers:
  • Use as test questions on classroom assessments.
  • Use as a daily science review. Do a couple of problems each day and discuss together.
  • Use a simpler form of questions for younger students. 
  • Have young students answer questions orally. 
  • Split the questions up according to units and use the as a part of instruction.
  • Use questions as a formative assessment: exit tickets, bell ringer, probe

NAEP is The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) is the largest nationally representative and continuing assessment of what America's students know and can do in various subject areas. Assessments are conducted periodically in mathematics,reading, science, writing, the arts, civics,economics, geography, U.S. history, and beginning in 2014, in Technology and Engineering Literacy​ (TEL).
