REGISTER TODAY FOR FREE ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION TRAINING
Keep Louisiana Beautiful and Shreveport Green invite teachers K-5th to attend a free environmental education workshop on Saturday, December 1, 2018. The workshop will introduce teachers to a new environmental education program designed to help students become good environmental stewards. The program contains 10 environmental lesson plans, hands-on activities for a variety of grade levels, fun activity sheets, student standards per grade level, and additional resources. Topics include; defining litter, timeline of trash, litter decomposition, watershed, clean water, effects on wildlife, plastics, reducing, reusing, recycling and civic responsibility.
